It is with heavy hearts that we must relay the following to you: Due to unforseen and unfortunate circumstances, The Little Red Studio and Bistro, a cultural touchstone and beautiful events space on Dexter Ave., has shut its doors. Countless communities relied on its space and the graciousness of its owner towards the production and presentation of alternative art and theater. We were one. You may remember that we had our upcoming April 16th Fundraiser scheduled there.
While we want nothing more than to sit around and pine for what was, we couldn’t let such a fabulous event languish. So we asked everyone we knew if they would be willing to host us last minute. And we asked. And we asked. And then we spoke to the fabulous folks at the Fred Wildlife Refuge, who said “it would be our pleasure”.
And we said, “we can’t thank you enough.” So! Please note that the venue for our April 16th Fundraiser has moved to the Fred Wildlife Refuge on Capital Hill. It’s going to be a full evening of mayhem and mischief and music and we can’t wait to see you there.
If you are planning on attending, please purchase your tickets in advance through our Kickstarter page. Your donations support HONK! Fest West, a free three-day marching music festival and one of the best reasons ever to dance in the street.
Oh! And keep your eyes peeled. We hear tell that The Little Red Studio will return, bigger and better than ever. We can’t wait.
